Dragon Boat Race returns to Lake Charles Civic Center for fifth year KPLC-TV The ancient Chinese tradition of dragon boat racing will soon return to the Lake Charles waterfront. The CHRISTUS St. Patrick Foundation will host its fifth annual Dragon Boat Race at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 22, at the Lake Charles Civic Center Seawall.
