Coast Guard searching for two Lake Charles boaters missing in the Gulf KPLC-TV The U.S. Coast Guard is searching the Gulf of Mexico about 125 miles southeast of Galveston after a distress call Saturday morning, according to a news release. The Coast Guard named the boaters as Karl Shram and Chris Bergeron of Lake Charles.
